Yeah, Luc made the trip out West for the Oregon State/USC game.
the UT boards are thinkin he commits mid-November, he wants to be an early enrollee.
I still think its UF, but UT is right behind.

I've read from people in SOFLA that he's already commited to UT. He's supposed to be trying to get his parents to come this week before he announces officially. Mike Farrell and Jamie Newberg from Rivals both are saying now that he's probably going to end up at UT.
he has an uncle in knoxville, right?
i would have never thought UT was in the picture on him, but now it seems hes already decided.
he still has not taken a visit to UF or FSU, it he takes visits before he commits it could muddle up the process.
itll be a huge deal if UT lands him, but I dont think UT can get Elam.
Elam is UF all the way, I seriously doubt you guys can pry him away.
He has family in Knoxville, but I'm not sure the relation.
As for visits he's made several unofficials to UF and FSU. He said they were so close he didn't need to take an official. He was at the UT/UF game and was in the endzone when Kiffin was leaving the field. He stopped Kiffin at the fence to talk to him while his hostess' were trying to pull him away.
After everything that Crompton has been through and dealt with, I'm tickled to death to see him playing this well. Also, it's amazing to me that the defense has only allowed their opponent inside the 20 yard line once in the past 8 quarters.
I was shocked to see this morning that the defense has only given up 6 tds this year and 2 of those was after short field offensive turnovers.
Kiffin smh
why?
why come out and add a negative light on the game?
fussing about penalties.
there was what, 1, 2 maybe subjective calls the whole game.
false starts, delay of game, simple stuff
for one, blaming his terrible clock management on being scared to be penalized.
thast the craziest load of **** ive ever heard. does anyone actually believe that?
yeah, he took his helmet off. he thought the ballgame was over, but yeah, its a penalty.
they make that call, what happens?? you give a team ANOTHER chance to win, after getting denied on a fair play, the penalty was not a game altering one.
this was not a pass interference call, or a holding call or something that affected the play.
most UT fans ive read, including on here, agree the penalty shoud not have been called.
Dan Mullen has a much better reason to ***** IMO
they actually said that the call was right, that since bama recoverd the ball that it was not a defenseive penelty (since the game can't end on one) and when he commited the foul it was bamas ball and the time was expired so the call was right...
Actually on this part I do, his explanation on the coaches show and the reason he didn't try to advance the ball up field more was pretty legit. We had already had a few false start penalties, holding, etc and if we would have gotten one trying to go one more play we would have been out of field goal range so yeah, I have to agree with him on this one, smart decision. He said he was gonna take it out of the refs hands and let the players (fg unit) decide it and he was right, except they allowed penetration and the rest is history.
As far as the whole penalty throwing the helmet ordeal, it should not have been called.
